Development Grace Period

As a reseller, there are two approaches you can take to develop a website without incurring any CMS fees.

Use a Free Plan

Most website development can be accomplished using a free plan. When the development is complete, you can then switch the site to a paid plan. This approach gives you unlimited time to develop the site. The primary limitation to this approach is the 15-page limit on free plans.

If you need more than 15 pages during the development phase of your project, use the next method explained below.

Use a Paid Plan's 60-Day Grace Period

When you create a new website from within your reseller account, you automatically have a 60-day grace period during which you have full access to the selected plan's features at no cost.

As an example, if you have a CMS plan that costs $30/month, you can create a website that uses this plan and no payment is required for 60 days. After 60 days, you'll still have full access to the CMS but publishing will become disabled until payment is made.

The grace period cannot be extended so please plan your development accordingly.

An important note about the grace period: If you change plans at any time during the 60-day grace period, the system will require payment before you can publish. To maximize your 60-day grace period, stay on the plan selected when the site was created.
